Badalona Cricket Club won the junior cricket league catalunya 2021

Badalona Cricket Club won the Liga Catalana de Cricket Junior 2021 by beating Pak I Care Badalona CC in the final at Montjuic ground on 28th august 2021. Badalona CC became the unbeaten champion of this tournament. They've won all there league matches and the semifinal against Santa Perpatua CC. Badalona CC captain Omar Ali and bowler Lovedeep Singh played big role for this result. Omar Ali's alrounding performance and Lovedeep with the ball in hand was amazing through out the series.

Final between Pak I Care and Badalona CC was a neil bitting match. After winning the toss Pak I Care decided to bat first. In there cuota of 20 overs they scored a decend 165 runs with loss of 5 wickets. In return Badalona CC started slowly. They lost their first wicket in 7th over then Omar Ali came to the creese and hold the grip of the match. Though Badalona was loosing wickets regularly but Omar Ali was steady in the wicket and scoring runs. At a time it was looking like the game is going to the Pak I Care's hand but Omar Ali never lost hope and in last 5 overs they required 50 runs to win. But Captain leading from the front one handedly get close the target. Omar Ali got out in 19.3 overs with 3 runs short of win. Rest of the players manged to get 3 runs with 1 ball spare in hand.

Manish Manwani from Raval sporting became the player of the series for his alrounding performance and Omar Ali was the player of final.
